The picturesque village of Wilmcote is home to Mary Ardens house, just three miles from Stratford-Upon-Avon. This magnificent Tudor Farmhouse was home to the mother of William Shakespeare, now a Museum dedicated to showing life in Tudor times, Harpe Cottage is only 250 meters away from this historic house. The village also has a good local store, two public houses. A Church, two bus services, one being an open top bus leaving from Mary Ardens house on a round trip to Stratford. A train station providing a regular service to Stratford and Birmingham, There is canal access to Stratford and lots of peaceful country walks.
